End of Year and Start of Year Information

Thank you all for another great year.  I really appreciate the support that you, our community provide for our wonderful school.

Without you as a collective supporting our purpose and values the unique nature of our school would not resonate so strongly.

I am truly grateful to be able to lead such an incredible staff and belong to an amazing community.

Together we are making a difference for our children.

End of Year Info -

Reports will be coming home via seesaw before the end of term.  Please leave a heart on your child's post even if you don't like it, so we know it has been read.

If you have a year six child, either download their journal or items that you would like to save, before you lose access next year.

Tomorrow is our Year 1-4 awards assembly, this will start at 2pm and be held under the canopy.  This will start promptly and should be all over by 2.30pm.  Everyone welcome, please bring a seat if you have one.

On Tuesday at 1.30pm we will hold the Year 5-6 Awards.  You are welcome to attend, bring a seat if you have one.  If you want your younger child to attend, please take them out of class, but be prepared to supervise them.  Room 6 and 10 children that are in year 4, will attend in the audience.  This should be finished by 2.15pm.

Both ceremonies are informal and an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our children.  If you would like a photo of the year six group together, there will be an opportunity at the end to get one.

Our last day is Wednesday the 14th and this ends at 12.00pm.  Wednesday is used as a day to have a bit of a clean up in classes and around the grounds.  Children need to be picked up by 12.15pm on this day.

Start of School Info -

All children now know their classes and lists have been sent home via seesaw.

School starts on the 1st of February and the last day of 2023 is the 15th of December.  Next year there will be a couple of MOE allowed teacher only days.  The first one we will be taking is on the 24th of April.  These days have been allocated by the MOE so schools can get to work learning about the curriculum refresh.

The date for the Beach Picnic has been set for Friday the 17th of February.  We will rely heavily on parent transport and supervison on this day, so set it aside if you can.

Statrionery lists have also gone home via seesaw, but can also be accessed online, by searching your child's class.
