READING TOGETHER WORKSHOPS
Dear parents and
caregivers,
The programme
consists of 4 workshops – each 1 hour & 15 minutes long. It is important
that you attend all the workshops.
These will be held in the school library at
3:30pm on these dates during Term 2:
v
Week 3
Wednesday 6th May 2015.
v
Week 4
Monday 11th May 2015.
v
Week 5
Wednesday 20th May 2015.
v
Week 9
Wednesday 17th June 2015.
The programme does
not cost you anything and it will really help your children to become much
better readers. In particular it helps children to understand what they are reading, which is very important. There
will be childcare (with afternoon tea provided) available for your children and
light refreshments to begin each workshop.
If you would like
to attend can you please return the attached form as soon as possible. As
numbers catered for in each workshop series are limited, places will be
allocated on a first come basis. Please indicate clearly on the form if you
require childcare including the number of children it is needed for.
**Please note: If
you are unable to attend this series of workshops you will be invited again later
in the year.
Please contact me
either face to face at school or via email cbreez@vodafone.co.nz if you require further information about
this programme.
