This is an abridged newsletter just to cover the need to know items to end the term and going into Term 4.
Trophies - If your child won a trophy last year, these need to be returned to the office ASAP, preferably before the end of this term.
The pool will be open next term. We keep this open through the hard work of Paul and Allen and a team of kind volunteers. If you were on our pool roster last year, could you please let Chrissie know ASAP (before the end of term or sooner if possible) if you are happy to be on the roster again. If you are keen to be a pool volunteer (training provided) then please also contact Chrissie and she will put you on the list admin@kaurihohoreschool.co.nz
19th of September - Empty classroom day, children are encouraged to bring along items to self-direct their play on this day. It is very likely children will get muddy, so send a couple of changes of clothes and something to put wet or muddy clothes into. Make sure children also have warm clothing to put on.
21st of September - Awards assembly. Everyone is welcome to come along. We award our overall citizens with certificates, announce the overall winner for the term and give out class awards Cross country certificates will also be awarded during this time.
22nd of September - Last day, those children that want to, can bring their togs for a Spring dip in the morning.
Over the Term 3 holidays, we ask that people stay away from our school grounds. We have a lot of property work going on and need to keep the area safe. Asbestos is being removed from the pump shed on the 25th of September.
