Congratulations to Matekino who received her Peter Blake Young Leader award last night. Sir Peter Blake is widely recognised as one of New Zealand's greatest leaders. He believed in the incredible potential of young kiwis to achieve great things and the Young Leader Award celebrates students who demonstrate outstanding leadership.

Creativity, Imagination and Play!
Lovely creativity and imagination through play this morning as Room 9 and 1 had fun gathering materials together to make fairy houses.
End of Term Awards Assembly
This will be held at the new time of 2.15pm on Friday the 6th of July. Hopefully in the courtyard, but if it is raining we will be in Room 1.
Awards include:
*Principal Awards - Chosen by the classroom teacher
*Respect Awards - Chosen by the classroom teacher
*Good Citizen recognition certificates
*Overall Citizen Term 2 - Voted by children
Children will be able to go home at the conclusion of this assembly if you wish to take them.

Thursday June 21st - Paid union meeting
Thursday June 21st is a paid union meeting. Our school will remain open as it is a normal school day with some staff staying behind to supervise children.
