The Pillars of Learning

The Pillars of Learning

In Brief

We are located in Apotu Road five minutes out of Kamo in Whangarei. We are a rural school with with a roll that ranges from 170-200 depending on the time of year. We cater for year 1-6 children. We operate nine multi-level classrooms with a big focus on the importance of play. Wellbeing and emotional intelligence are a driving force in our school. We teach using a structured literacy and maths approach and base our teaching on the Science of Learning. Teachers are constantly upskilling in these areas.
